Open Houses at the Silver Spring B&O Railroad Station

First Saturday of the month

The Silver Spring Historical Society and Montgomery Preservation Inc. sponsor this monthly open house at the historic 1945 B&O Railroad Station. Featured are local historic railroad photographs by Robert Davis, exhibit of Silver Spring advertising memorabilia and artifacts, and a model train display that kids will love!

Limited free parking is available in front of the station, (Please do not park next door at the fire station!) with ample street parking and a parking garage available nearby. The railroad station is also an easy four-block walk from the Silver Spring Metro station on the Red Line. The station is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
