Monocacy Cemetery’s Memorial Garden Dedication
On Saturday, November 9, Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville dedicated a memorial garden to the eight Revolutionary War Patriots who are buried there. The ceremony included unveiling of the America 250 bronze plaque and a marker listing the names of the Patriots who helped to lay the foundation of our nation.
Many thanks to the Goshen Mills and Pleasant Plains of Damascus NSDAR Chapters for their program coordination and the 100+ guests in attendance, including the Old Line Fife & Drum Corps.
