Join Sandra Heiler, MPI’s Treasurer, for a special event featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Madison House in historic Brookeville, Maryland.

Enjoy a delicious reception featuring a scrumptious “Founding Fathers-inspired” menu with period libations. Ms. Heiler will also share the intriguing story when the British in 1814 burned down the White House and President James Madison fled seeking shelter here. This late 18th-century estate boasts period pieces, a harpsichord and a fascinating history, including serving as the official White House during that critical moment in time.
