Due to the developing situation involving coronavirus (COVID-19), Montgomery Preservation has postponed this event.

“History of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Norwood Parish” at St. John’s Parish Hall, 6701 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase.

Presentation by Archivist Cathy O’Donnell.

Founded in 1873, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Norwood Parish, has a rich history, intertwined with that of Bethesda. Cathy O’Donnell was trained by Washington Cathedral Historian and Archivist, Richard Hewlett, and then went to Dublin, Ireland, where she received a Professional Certification in Archival Management from University College Dublin. She has been a member of St. John’s for 40 years.
