MPI Gathering and Annual Meeting
You are invited to attend
the 2026 Annual Meeting of Montgomery Preservation, Inc.
on Sunday, May 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the newly rehabilitated historic Germantown Bank.
(19330 Mateny Hill Rd, Germantown, MD – just across the way from Germantown RR station)
Speaking about plans to celebrate the Semiquincentennial of Montgomery County will be Laura Anderson Wright, President of the Heritage Tourism Alliance of Montgomery County (AKA Heritage Montgomery). Since 2004, Heritage Montgomery has been raising awareness of our long local history as evidenced by our many
rich cultural and historical resources.
The gathering will include reports on local preservation projects and progress, issues and concerns of the past year, and a forum for open discussion. Members present will elect new Officers for the next term. And of course, the afternoon includes an insider’s description of the Bank project and a friendly table filled with spring refreshments.
Interested in being on MPI’s Board of Directors for 2026-2028, either At-Large or as a community representative?
Email us at mpi@montgomerypreservation.org with your contact information and we’ll get back to you.
