Next spring, Montgomery County, Maryland will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Metropolitan Branch of the B&O Railroad Line. The Germantown Historical Society is previewing the celebration on Saturday, November 19 with a talk by Susan Cooke Soderberg on the structures of the railroad.
