Gibbs, Jr. and how did his challenge to Montgomery County’s School Board for gross inequities in staff pay and student spending bring young NAACP lawyer Thurgood Marshall to Rockville? Learn how events here started the journey to the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court landmark case Brown vs Board and its historic impact on education in America. This exhibit is courtesy of Peerless Rockville.
