The Silver Spring Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Station, located at 8100 Georgia Avenue, is available for rental for meetings and special occasions.
Owned and operated by Montgomery Preservation, the station features a 1,291 square-foot original waiting room that can accommodate up to 50 people. The original seating furniture (for 35-40 persons) can be arranged in theatre, conversation, dining, or open space configurations. The Rockville Model Railroad Society has installed their wonderful HO scale model train layout and we have created a children’s area. A covered platform area on the track side of the building is ideal for watching trains.

- The station is handicapped accessible and has a handicapped accessible restroom.
- Parking is available around the building and in public garages in the immediate area.
- Renters may bring their own food or use a caterer.
- Four 6-foot tables are available to hold food or beverages.
- The vintage baggage cart on the station platform can also be used.
- You may bring in a DJ or provide your own music.
Rental Fees
- Event Rental: $675 provides a 4-hour block of time. Choose any date or time.
- Additional time for events may be added at the rate of $75 per hour.
- A $200 refundable security deposit is required at time of booking.
